We have been coppicing hazel (and birch) on a hill next to our community woodland HQ at Taliesin (nx7955) since around 2000 with a hiatus after FE contractors destroyed our dead-hedging protection.
Subsequentially, FE provided a deer fence enclosing about 6 hectares in 2010 and we started again.
Around a campfire back in 2000 or so, when presented with a multi-page document/contract by FE folk, we suggested that maybe we should sleep together for a bit before getting married, and it remains so to nthis day. I can commend such an arrangement where possible, because it depends upon mutual goodwill without formal obligation on either side and either party can decide if it's no longer working without making work for lawyers.
We generally fell one coupe each year in February, and being a relatively small group, we welcome all volunteers with open arms. About a month ago, we exceptionally felled a coupe to provide hazel for a roundhouse project in Wigtownshire:

Although we haven't got married, there is a management plan (still in 'draft' but kept reasonably up to date)
That will ahve to do as a "Hello!" Maybe see y'all at the Gathering this weekend?
