Hutters' Rally November 2017

Postby donald.mcphillimy » 15 Sep 2017, 08:52

A date for your diary! Saturday 18th November. This year’s Rally is being held in Edinburgh at Broughton St Mary’s church on Bellfield Crescent (off Broughton Street) EH3 6NE.

The event will be the springboard to inspire and inform the builders of the first huts in 2018. Further information on how to get your tickets will follow shortly.

All our previous rallies have been very popular, a great place to meet other current and aspiring hutters and find out the latest news. We suggest you book early (but not yet).

Well, what a day! 200 tickets sold in the end which plus helpers, speakers, etc brought the total up to around 220. Certainly, the biggest Rally and probably the biggest Reforesting Scotland event ever. We had presentations, panel questions, networking, small group discussions on a host of topics, model hut building and some great ideas and determinations to take home with us. Another milestone.
Where should the rally be next year?
