Fundraising

Reforesting Scotland is reliant on the generosity of individuals, companies and organisations in order to help us achieve our aims.

We have recently been very successful in attracting a range of funding support to allow us to further develop our key projects and activities. We are currently working on several new and exciting projects of great relevance to social forestry in Scotland and are actively seeking new support to enable us to carry these forward.

One of our current funding successes is the Rural Alternatives project, which is looking at wild resources ("non-timber forest products"), such as wild foods or herbal remedies from local woodlands and training for local people in their use, particularly as a business opportunity.

However, funding - especially core funding - is always a challenge for a small organisation like Reforesting Scotland, along with funding for new and ongoing projects. One current example is the ongoing work on wild harvests, including the ForestHarvest website.

If you have any ideas for fundraising, please e-mail .
